Student Study Rooms

BYU–Hawaii students may request rooms for their own independent academic study and small group sessions up to two business days in advance. Rooms are available in the Aloha Center, Cannon Activities Center, Fitness Studio, Heber J. Grant Building, David O. McKay Classroom Building, McKay Gymnasium, and Science Building. Three hours is the maximum length of time that can be scheduled. Due to the high demand for rooms, back-to-back reservations by the same student is not permitted. Study rooms are not available on Reading Days.

How to Begin

Step 1

Submit the Student Scheduling Account Activation Request form below. Accounts will be activated during normal business hours Monday-Friday, 8 am–5 pm not including holidays. You will receive an email notification once it is activated.

Step 2

Once activated, visit the scheduling website at emsscheduling.byuh.edu.

Step 3

Click on "Create a Reservation" on the top left under HOME. You will notice that the template you have is “Student Study Rooms.” Make sure to click on ABOUT to read all about the guidelines and instructions of scheduling a study room.

Step 4

Your request will be reviewed to make sure submission guidelines are followed and that all information required is provided. A confirmation for the room with how to access the room and its rules will then be sent via email.
