Sponsorship of Non-BYUH Organizations
Sponsorship of Non-BYUH Organizations
A sponsorship application must be completed anytime a non-BYUH entity wishes to hold an event on campus through a sponsoring department. Both entities must understand and comply with the following:
1. The completed sponsorship application (cover sheet and attached documentation) must be submitted a minimum of 21 working days prior to the activity/ program.
2. The sponsored event must support and further the mission and purpose of Brigham Young University–Hawaii and its department.
3. The sponsoring organization is responsible for the appropriateness of the activity for campus, the conduct of participants, and all direct costs associated with the set-up and arrangements for the event.
4. Requests may be denied if they are deemed to set an unwanted precedent for the use of university facilities or do not sufficiently represent the university's best interests.
Full sponsorship authorization is required before facility or equipment usage can be confirmed. Such events are subject to established scheduling priorities and fees.
Return the completed sponsorship application paperwork to the University Scheduling office in the Lorenzo Snow Administration Building, Room 218, or via email at universityscheduling@byuh.edu for final approval.
